Information: Stephanie Alexander holds a degree in the social sciences from the University of New Hampshire and has worked with the CNHRPC and its communities for nearly two decades. As a veteran planner, she works with local communities as a land use planner - facilitating committees, developing planning documents, providing town planner services, and providing local technical assistance. She has managed the CNHRPC’s Hazard Mitigation Plan program for over 12 years.

Stephanie has developed or updated nearly six dozen local and regional planning documents working closely with committees during her career with the CNHRPC. As a renowned committee wrangler, she has managed and prepared plans including Master Plans, Capital Improvements Programs, Hazard Mitigation Plans, Open Space Trail System Plans, and the occasional Village Master Plan, Trails Plan, Emergency Operations Plan, Regulations Audit, Site Plan Review or Subdivision Regulation, and regional planning document. Recent contributions to other staffs’ projects have included land analyses of transportation corridors and a comprehensive broadband chapter for a local Master Plan. Stephanie also performs development review of local plans with a critical eye and provides a written detailed report for communities.

She initiated and coordinated the decade-long Regional Resource Conservation Committee (R2C2) for Conservation Commissions. Stephanie recently coordinated the successful multi-town and multi-agency Suncook River Community Planning Team and its sub-Teams, and worked to ensure success of the Tasks generated by its communities.

Stephanie is always on the look-out for the next large-scale organization and coordination challenge, which she relishes. New projects are of particular interest, as she enjoys formulating new processes and plan content for successful project completion. As she has worked with the CNHRPC for so long, she knows many people from the region’s communities. Stop in the office and say hello!
